List your item

Condition description

Make sure your condition description is accurate, and that you show any wear or damage the item has. If your item description isn’t accurate, it could get returned by the buyer – and nobody wants that.

Stay in touch

Keep an eye on your Trunk account for messages from potential buyers – staying responsive can help clinch those sales.

Sold!

When someone clicks ‘buy’ on your item, they’ll pay for it right away through the Trunk website, using our payment partner Stripe. We’ll hold the payment until the buyer gets the item.

Get the item ready

When you’ve made a sale, we’ll let you know so you can prep the item for delivery or collection.

If the buyer’s chosen to do an in-person collection – an option that’s only available if you allow it when you set up the listing – you’ll also need to let them know when and where to do the pick up.

Get paid

Once the buyer confirms they’ve received the item and it matches the description you gave, we’ll release their payment to you, minus Trunk’s 10% cut of the sale. Cha-ching!

Give feedback

Both buyers and sellers can (and should!) leave reviews for each other, to let everyone know who the good people to deal with on Trunk are.

That’s more or less all there is to it – happy selling!
